Le chemin démarre du Chemin de Gabelle à côté "chemin de Gabelle" (la Sarte) (photo n°1)(photo n°2). Il est en forte pente (photo n°3). Il n'est praticable que par temps sec, à pieds dans les deux sens, en descente pour les VTTistes qui devront mettre pied à terre pour la dernière portion du sentier (escaliers). Un panneau indique: 'Vers escaliers de Gabelle'.
